Sheryl Feldman
After having my three children, I began to explore the area of maternal health and the mental health of birthing people on their perinatal journey. Being supported during all of my births made me want to help others experience the same empowerment I did.
I completed my doula training with DONA International am now a student of Birthing From Within Doula and Childbirth Education Training, a program that is allowing me to deepen my knowledge and help people be less vulnerable to birth trauma.
As a certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, I am uniquely trained to bring all that I know about counseling and social work to the field of birth work, helping those who have experienced loss, infertility, and perinatal mood disorders.
I am a full spectrum, intersectional doula. I believe in providing support that is gender-inclusive and nonjudgmental. I work diligently to recognize how my privilege and bias impact my practice and I am committed to dismantling prejudice and oppression in healthcare.
